The Collin Trust and Lecture
Conversion of energy from any type of fuel, be it fossil
or renewable bio-based; solid, fluid or gaseous, is to be
handled under not only technical and economical conditions,
but also under increasingly dominant environmental constraints.
These conditions are influential in governing development and use of energy converters used both for sea and rail transportation units, as well as for production of electrical power and heat.

The “Collin Trust” is registered and administered in UK. The purpose of the Trust is to sponsor the “Collin Trust Lecture”; to be delivered by a selected senior industrialist or a person that has an international reputation on environmental issues, or an official from a leading national administration. To give information about his, or his organizations, views on important future developments in the field of energy conversions in internal combustion engines and/or gas turbines.

The Trust has found the Intl. Cimac World Congresses to be a proper forum for these lectures, and they have been a permanent feature of each Congress, since the trust was established.
